Chuck Barbour - President / Co-Owner
Chuck Barbour - President / Co-Owner
Chuck got his first taste of landscaping under the guidance of his beloved grandmother, by helping her in her garden and with her yard when he was a young boy. During his teenage years, he grew up in Summerfield and his parents were always encouraging and very supportive when he would experiment on their lawn with his various landscaping ideas. He also, worked after school, weekends and summers in the early growth years of Cam Too Camellia Nursery, Inc. in Summerfield and through those positive experiences, he realized his love for the horticulture industry and followed that path to Sandhills Community College, well know for their excellent Landscaping/Horticulture program.

Chuck has a always been working in the Horticulture Industry, but in 2015 he went back to his first love . . . working for himself with Triad Leisure Scapes, a Landscaping Company that focuses on Hardscapes as well as Landscaping, Drainage, Grading and Lighting.

Cheryl’s background is in Television and Real Estate, but she has always been involved with her husband Chuck, in one capacity or another, in the Horticulture Industry and she has always been willing to help on Landscaping projects, when needed. Chuck broke her into Landscaping early in their marriage by having her dig holes, plant plants, mulch beds, operate the weed eater, basically whatever he needed help doing.
Some of the things she will never forget was Chuck having her haul bags of “Black Cow”, (cow manure used for planting soil), in the back of her Firebird and planting pansies at an industrial park at midnight, under the moonlight and street lights. As they were working they would laugh and call themselves, “Fly By Night Landscapers”!!! . . .now that is True Love!!!
She is a previous Emmy Award Winning television producer and has worked at WGHP-TV8, WGGT-TV48 and WFMY-TV2, as well as had her own video production company. Since 2003, she has been a Real Estate Broker and currently works for eXp Realty in Greensboro.
If anyone understands the importance of using Landscaping, Hardscapes and Lighting to enhance the beauty of your home and give you home “Curb Appeal” and “Outdoor Living Appeal”, Cheryl certainly does and knows what it takes to set your home apart from your neighbors!
